Funny turn of events!

When I first thought of using a blog, the idea was to allow you to explore a new area of experience for a 21st century, well-grounded education. And on my part, I would be able to reach you in a way that I would not be able to in the classroom. You'd be actually writing in English on your own while we all have a little more access to each other's world. But now, it looks like the use of technology will cover other needs!
This beginning of the year is quite different for me. First week and I got this throat infection, AND, second week, I'm looking at a prospective knee surgery (left inner meniscus!). Which means that, more than a tool for your own improvement, technology will allow me to keep in touch with you, and somehow get a first-hand sense of how you are doing and where you're standing with your academic work. Ms. Adela will sub for me while I'm away, but thanks to technology, I'll be quite involved in the process while I'm regaining my strength back home in bed. We'll use this mainly to communicate with each other more fluidly!
I'll be looking forward to hearing from you and reading your blogs from home as I recover from the operation. Hey, I hope you keep me company as well!

Hi Charlie!! I'm the first one to comment on your blog as it seems... this is mine, with new style, new entry, new phrases, links, pics... and so on.
Hey! My dad has the same problem as you in his leg (I think it's the same) but he never got the surgery... He hates all that.. Anyway, my best wishes with the operation!!! I hope everything goes ok. I'll be posting during the week!
See you (someday...) Charlie!

Hey Charlie! Could you tell how to do a text square like the blue one that's at the left of your blog? Thank you!!

Anyway... someone posted sth for you on my blog... I copy and paste it so you don't have to look up for it:
" Hi! I just wanted to let your teachers know that I'll never forget how much I loved being their student and how much I treasure everything they taught me.
You'll always be in my heart Carlos and Carolina!
Anita de la Peña ;) "
That's it...

Well, good luck on your surgery! i hope everything goes alright!! See you next month (sounds strange...)

Mister Charles...Long time no see. I must say, really long time. Can´t belive it´s been like 6 years. I really don´t know how I ended up here, but I´ll take the time to greet you. Lots of things have changed since school. I started (and I finished!) studing Graphic Design at Santo Domingo´s University and I´m currently working as a freelance art mercenary (As I like to call it). I do have a blog too (http://elrincondebuda.blogspot.com) where I post most of my freelance work. I did some retouching on the original blogger design to feet my desires...it actually looks pretty good (I´m a nasty critic when it comes to details...specially in my own production). I wanted to say thanks for giving me the oportunity to sing in the play (remember that?) cause that gave me the oportunity to start singing (And I haven´t stopped since then). I have a band now and I´m a rapper (digg hiphop music?) and a singer. Drop me a line anytime and I´ll send you some of my songs. You were (and are) a great teacher, you do what you do with passion and that´s what really matters. I just wanted to let you know that.

Feel free to visit my space anytime you want.

Greetings.

Benjamin aka Buda.

PS: have you seen "rent" on dvd? I loved that film!...I wish I could see the play on Broadway someday (I must confess, I´m a sucker for musicals)
