Back to school

Hi! It's been a while since my last entry, but here I am again: back to school and my other duties, struggling to find time for my daily two-hour rehab, and today very happy with the presentation Alina, Cecilia and I made at the UNT course this morning. And guess what was the topic... Yes! The use of blogs in the foreign language classroom. And we shared some of the blogs students have created. And from the feedback we got after it, people really seemed to find it interesting.
The best part of getting back to work was receiving fresh energy from students. It's amazing. Now, it's really time to work!

Dear Charlie!!! I finally got the time and found the words to comment here. Oops... it's me, Anita de la Peña :). I found out about this new technique you're using at school to make students practise their writing through Vale Becker (who I met online) and found it very interesting, since I've been practising my English through internet for years! And I know the "weblog boom" happened just a couple of years ago, but when I was your student I was already a computer freak and had my own website with some of my writings from that time.
Anyway, that's not the point of my entry. I wanted to reach you just to say thank you!!! > For all the times you told me "Ana, don't be lazy, you deserve an "A", but I'll give you a "B-" because you never do your homework", you were so right... I was so confident. > For annoying me with the writing, that now I love so much!. > For giving me the few nice moments I can remember from high school. > For not forcing me to participate in class (LOL). > For making me appreciate reading. > For making me fascinate wit foreign cultures and languages... and for so many things that I can't remember right now, but meant so much to me at that time, and mean much more right now.
Through your classes I began to write, because let's be honest, that's the only practise on writing we ever had, whatever the language. Through your classes I fell in love with books, poetry, writers... And though I have evolved, because now I'm capable of writing an enjoying a good book in my own language too, I have to admit that it all began in my high school English class.
I haven't studied English since I finished school... my speaking is not bad, but could be a lot better. Everyone was so sure that I would at some point of my life, but right now I'm trying to decide which language I should learn next. French is so interesting, but Portuguese is easier... Never mind.
I could write forever, but I have to study now, and you must have things to do. I think Vale gave you my email, so if you have time, and feel like writing back you're always welcome. Say Hi to Carolina for me please :)

Ps. I hope that knee gets better soon! Stay in touch!

Charlie!

I've posted one entry with the comment of the radio programme in my blog.

I hope it's OK.

See you tomorrow.

I'm angry!!!!! I don't know what's happening with the blogspot!! ò.ó
I don't even know if my reaction to the radio programme uploaded correctly, because when I had to check if it was ok, after clicking "post", the screen went white and since that moment I couldn't enter to my blog!! To any blog, to be more precise! Only yours, but with some errors and a different format..! I don't know what's happening... Ô.o
I want to post sth... but anyway... till I can, I wanted to let you know that I can't enter to my blog...
That's all! See you round school Charlie!!

Charly!

On one hand, i am not able to write about something i didn't heard so I didn't write the reaction because i was not in class because i was in a trip with the school because the school sent me - so i am sorry, no one had things written down so I am not able to invent and write yet.

On the other hand, that was the piece that i wanted you to read. It doesn't matter..

Finally, sorry.. If a get a 0 I get it, i make a great effort to make the best possible in my blog. I think it's quite unfair because many of the students didn't write nothing at all -- And i spend too many hours doing poems, and these and that.
So, if a get a 0 I would get it , I know that i did my best...

kisses =)
